About Norie
Norie Ape is a Sāmoan-born, Auckland-raised Product Owner and Digital Transformation Leader at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Her self-appointed job title is Tech Explainerer, reflecting her passion for translating complexity into clarity and designing systems that serve people with integrity and purpose.
With more than a decade of experience across education, government, health, green energy, and social enterprise, she has worked across transformation programmes with MSD, DIA, Te Pūkenga, BCITO, SolarZero, Whānau Tahi, and Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
Norie speaks on cognitive diversity, cultural intelligence, and AI equity, connecting Pasifika values and Aotearoa’s tech culture to build inclusive, future-ready teams.
