Our inaugural Agile on the Beach NZ, 2019

While some knew each other beforehand; we all left the weekend richer and wiser from the time spent together, with strong connections, bonds, and community.

Our theme for 2019 was People. Change. Impact … Tangata. Hurihanga. Whakaaweawe … and Jandals. We explored the coaching role, how we nurture and protect each other and ourselves, how we develop our ability to handle change, and how we help others develop too.

Over three days, we had half-day masterclasses in coaching, lean change, and sense-making, we had two international keynotes, two 45-minute workshops, a wide range of 20-minute talks, and a series of open spaces.

We are honoured and moved to see how much value everyone took. The conversations continue through social media channels, and we plan to set up a Slack channel specifically so people can sustain the community.
