Tired of agile cosplay and copy paste “ways of working” that don’t work? In this 45 minute, high energy activity, small teams use my #StopBadAgile cards to surface the anti-patterns they’re living with, name the system smells behind them, and design one small, sane experiment to move away from performative agile and toward real agility.
No frameworks worshipped.
No tool demos.
Just honest conversations, clear decisions, and a concrete action you’ll use in your workplace.
Steps
- Identify 2–3 agile anti patterns currently affecting their team using the card deck.
- Diagnose the systemic causes behind a chosen anti pattern (not just blame individuals).
- Prioritize one improvement focus using quick value/effort thinking.
- Formulate a right sized experiment (scope ≤ one sprint) with clear success signals.
- Commit to an owner, start date, and check back date for the experiment.
- Articulate how their experiment reduces a specific #stopbadagile behavior and supports team health.
