Cheryl cares deeply about people, wellbeing + creating workplaces for growth.

Throughout her journey, she has collected 18 years in people and communications, 11 years in IT and agile, 7 years as a professional coach, and 4 years as an adult educator.

Cheryl enjoys integrating agile, workflow by design, human-centred culture development and community scaling.

She helps leaders to enable and mobilise their teams (through agile and wellbeing practices), develop a wellbeing backlog and roadmap (to run real-time, cultural experiments), enhance their own professional wellbeing practices (to lead with vitality), and activate strategic scaling for wellbeing (taking things to the next level).


Is agile increasing burnout at work?

Burnout has become an occupational phenomenon, with one in three New Zealanders at high risk of burnout. At the same time, agile has been incrementally + fundamentally changing the way we work, with agile adoption in software teams increasing from 37% to 86%. Are the two related? In this talk, Cheryl explores some emerging patterns in the workplace wellbeing space + how we might use agile to design more sustainable ways of working.
